The Ruffed Grouse Society will hold its 9th Annual New Jersey Sporting Clay Challenge at the Hudson Farm, 270 Stanhope Road, Andover, New Jersey on Sunday, July 26, 2009.
Held in cooperation with Griffin & Howe and using the Lewis Class format, the 100 target, 16-station shoot is open to every class shooter with prizes and trophies awarded to the top three shooters as well as for the top guns in the Ladies and Youth divisions.
According to Dave Hansroth, registration is $300 per shooter, and includes 100 targets, four boxes of shells, shell carrier, continental breakfast, sit down lunch and dessert. Sign up as a 4-person team for $1100 and receive all of the above four times over.
A "Corporate Sponsor" package is also available at $600. It includes station recognition, single shooter entry package, plus 1 framed 2009 RGS print of the year "Autumn Delight - Ruffed Grouse" by Georgette Kanach
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The shoot begins with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Eye and ear protection required, and a live and silent auction will follow the shoot.
