Bear & Son Cutlery® has resurrected a timeless pocket knife design with its new 3- inch Red Stag Bone Barlow™ folding, double-bladed pocket knife (model # CRSB281). Collectors and users alike will appreciate this new all-purpose addition to Bear & Son Cutlery's popular 4th Generation line of knives made of 1095 high carbon steel, famed for being easy to sharpen and for holding an edge longer than other steels.

This beautifully crafted, nostalgic knife has traditional, distinctive red stag bone handles with an inlaid 4th Generation shield, giving it instant collector appeal, but anyone who appreciates a sharp edge, high performance and versatility will value it for years to come. The Bear & Son Cutlery Red Stag Bone Barlow has a large, tough bolster of nickel silver, thick brass liners, a comfortable tear-drop-shaped handle and two hollow-ground polished blades.

While small and compact, this ultra-sharp pocket knife offers unique functionality with one full-length clip point blade for general cutting chores and a smaller drop point blade for more detailed work. Both have long-pull nail marks.

Designed to be tough and affordable, the original Barlow knife originated in England in the 1600s, but was quickly adopted as an enduring American classic. Treasured as a gift and often passed from generation to generation, a Barlow knife was used by George Washington and immortalized by Mark Twain, creator of
Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, as a "real Barlow."
