Chain O'Lakes State Park is hosting its annual Poker Paddle on June 27.
Participants will paddle the lakes and channels of the state park, collecting poker cards as they go, after registering at the Sand Lake Boat Rental between 8 and 10 a.m. Paddlers must finish by noon and turn in their hand at the Nature Center by 12:30 p.m.
Paddling time is approximately two hours. Participants can bring their own canoe/kayak or rent one of the park's. The top three hands and lowest hand will win prizes.
The usual daily weekend gate fee of $5 per vehicle for in-state residents and $7 per vehicle for out-of-state residents will be charged.
