Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame Induction March 22

Cheyenne - Celebrate people who made significant lasting, lifetime contributions to the conservation of Wyoming’s outdoor heritage at the 2019 Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is hosting an induction ceremony at 5 p.m. on March 22 at the Buffalo Bill Center for the West in Cody. Tickets are available online.

Inductees for 2019 include Mark Haroldson, Dr. John W. Scott (posthumously), Glen F. Cole (posthumously) and Orrin and Lorraine Bonney (posthumously). They will join 58 past inductees.

“It will be a great night to celebrate Wyoming’s outdoors and the accomplishments of these individuals and the significant work they put forth for Wyoming conservation. We invite anyone who shares our passion for the outdoors to join us for the banquet,” said Sara DiRienzo, Wyoming Game and Fish Department public outreach specialist.

Former Gov. Dave Freudenthal established the Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame in 2004 to celebrate individuals who have shown leadership and vision related to conserving wildlife, habitat or our heritage of hunting and fishing.

Sponsorship opportunities for the event are available. Contact Sara DiRienzo at sara.dirienzo@wyo.gov or (307) 777-4540 for more details.
