Beretta Introduces “Beretta Challenge” for 2018 NSCA National Championship

(Accokeek, MD) October 19, 2018 - Beretta is excited to introduce the new ‘Beretta Challenge’ competition at the upcoming 2018 NSCA Nationals in San Antonio, TX. Reinventing the Super Sporting event sponsored by Beretta in previous years, this inaugural competition is the result of a collaboration with our senior Team Beretta shooters and the NSCA executive staff.

The purpose of the Beretta Challenge, an enhanced version of the established Super Sporting event, was to create a new and exciting competition course, even for the most experienced shooters.

We have developed a course that showcases additional challenging traps and specific stations that incorporate extra targets that our team shooters have identified as their most difficult to shoot.

These tough targets will be thrown from 4 different stations that are identified by life-size banners of our senior team members, which include Diane Sorantino, Anthony Matarese, Desirae Edmunds, and Zachary Kienbaum.

Approximately 1,207 competitors will compete over the majority of the competition as they attempt to rise to the challenge of this reinvented event.

The shooters who beat the Team Beretta designated targets will be entered into a daily drawing for a chance to win a prize presented by Beretta.

On the last day of competition, all of the individual competitors who conquer any of these four stations will be entered into a final drawing for the chance to win a Beretta APX pistol and assorted accessories.

The final and ultimate prize will be randomly selected from all entrants of this event and one male and one female competitor will receive a new 692 Sporting Black and 691 Vittoria shotgun, respectively.
