Beretta USA Partners with The Sporting Life Notebook

Accokeek, MD - Beretta USA is excited to announce a new partnership with The Sporting Life Notebook (TSLN).

Formerly known as the Gun Dog Notebook, TSLN is a Georgia-based organization that seeks to continuously engage in a rich collection of sporting initiatives, all with the hopes of creating curiosity amongst the unexplored, nontraditional markets and welcoming them to the outdoors. Durrell and Ashley Smith, founders of TSLN, alongside their team and industry partners, provide outdoor enthusiasts with the following services: guided hunts, sporting art, educational seminars, speaking engagements, storytelling through film, newsletters, events, podcasts, and much more.

“Our new partnership with Beretta is the absolute and ultimate dream for us at The Sporting Life Notebook. To work with the leader in fine shotguns that has set and maintained the standard of firearms excellence for 500 years inspires us to push the limits of our creativity even further, deepening the experience of the sporting life and engaging with new audiences, all for the mission of ‘bringing the unlikely to the outdoors,’” Durrell Smith, Founder of The Sporting Life Notebook, said. “It is exciting to know that we have aligned with the value Beretta places on heritage, tradition, and family. And we look forward to sharing our Southern bird dog and upland traditions with our Beretta family. We know this partnership will inspire others to share the love of the outdoors and fine guns and bring memories for years to come.”

“As the firearms market continues to grow in new and unexpected ways, Beretta strives to align itself with reputable organizations such as The Sporting Life Notebook to provide opportunities to introduce new consumers to Beretta’s portfolio of products. Durrell and Ashley’s enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors and their mission to bring non-traditional markets into the outdoor lifestyle are highly commendable. We look forward to working closely with them over the next few years to develop various initiatives to welcome new sporting and hunting enthusiasts to the Beretta brand and foster a life-long love of the outdoors,” Jeff Hobson, VP of Sales & Marketing – Beretta USA, said.

Beretta will kick off this exciting new partnership by sponsoring the 2nd Annual Minority Outdoor Alliance Festival, held at the Orvis Pursell Farms in Sylacauga, AL, from August 26-28, 2022. The MOA Fest is a 3-day event designed to provide educational tools to new and existing minority sportsmen and sportswomen, outdoor and conservation-focused NPOs, and outdoor industry leaders. Participants will enjoy instructional demonstrations, Q&A sessions with industry experts, and lessons for various outdoor activities.
