Teenagers Can Sign Up for Big Bass Zone Junior Championship at Bassmaster Classic Expo

COEUR D’ ALENE, Idaho – The Big Bass Zone Junior Championship (BBZ JC) Presented by Bassmaster Magazine will be on hand at the Bassmaster Classic in Birmingham to help teenagers sign up for the 2020 program. The BBZ JC awarded over $370,000 in prizes and scholarships at the 2019 Championship hosted by Idaho’s The Willows Club on Lake Pend Oreille.

With the assistance of Auburn University’s Bass Sports Club, an affiliate of the Alabama BASS Nation, teenagers and their parents can learn more about the nationwide grass roots tournament and sign up to enter.

Members of the fishing team will be stationed throughout the Expo at BBZ JC sponsor booths. Anglers in Auburn University fishing jerseys can be found in the B.A.S.S. main booth in the Expo and at exhibitor booths including Abu Garcia, Berkley, Hummingbird, Huk, Lowrance, Minn Kota, Mossy Oak and St. Croix.

The entry fee is $25 for one state or $50 for a nationwide entry. Anglers can enter as many times as they want. Each entry includes a one-year subscription to Bassmaster Magazine. The qualifying contest ends August 1, 2020, and each state’s angler with the largest bass recorded invited to the 2020 BBB JC final event this fall in Idaho. Anglers can also qualify for $1200 for transportation expenses to the championship.
