Steyr Arms Receives Prestigious Award of Excellence from Sporting Classics Magazine

Since 2002, Sporting Classics Magazine has recognized the products and companies that have a significant and long-lasting impact in the sporting community with its Awards of Excellence. This year, Steyr Arms USA was presented with the Award of Excellence for Rifle Company of the Year.

“Because of its cutting edge, some would say futuristic, AUG A1 bullpup military assault rifles, Steyr might strike American hunters as something new out of Austria,” wrote Ron Spomer about Steyr Arms USA. “No chance. Steyr has been making cutting-edge rifles ever since its first breechloader in 1864.
