Pope & Young Club Continues Support For S3DA

Chatfield, MN - The Pope & Young Club is proud to announce a continuing relationship with Scholastic 3D Archery. This after-school archery program, which allows participants to use equipment of their choice, has a goal to provide opportunities in various phases of archery such as indoor 5-spot, 3D, and outdoor target archery. Participants have the chance to develop throughout their high school years and move into collegiate level archery. In addition to participating in S3DA events, students learn about fair chase, ethical bowhunting and the role of hunters in wildlife conservation.

"The Pope & Young Club has been a long-time partner of S3DA, and we are pleased to be able to continue our relationship, hopefully far into the future,” said Jennie Richardson, Executive Director for S3DA. “The Pope & Young Club's enduring commitment to educating young archers in the principles of fair-chase ethics, bowhunting, and conservation solidly resonates with S3DA’s mission.”

The Pope and Young Club is a non-profit North American conservation and bowhunting organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of bowhunting by striving to increase awareness and appreciation of bowhunting foundations, principles and values. The Pope and Young Club is focused on Fair Chase hunting ethics that support the ethical pursuit of free-ranging, wild game animals without unfair advantage while promoting the conservation of both habitat and wildlife. The Club also maintains the universally recognized repository of records and statistics on North American big game animals harvested with a bow and arrow.
