If you’ve been waiting to get registered for the upcoming Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers conference in Branson, Missouri, it’s time to get signed up and get your hotel room booked. The conference special of $110/night at the beautiful Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa and conference is ending this Thursday, August 18th.

Situated on Table Rock Lake, the Chateau on the Lake will be the central hub for all things AGLOW during the conference from September 18th to the 22nd. Pre and post-conference outings are available, while a full day afield is also part of the conference schedule to let attendees get out an experience everything Branson has to offer.

Additionally, AGLOW is bringing some added value specifically to the corporate members with the addition of the Media/Advertising element to the annual auction. Advertising donations have already been made by well-known media stalwarts like Deer & Deer Hunting, Outdoor News, MediaOne, HuntStand, and Whitetails Unlimited, with more packages still being secured.

“We are excited to add another dimension to the auction and another value-add for our corporate members. Audience and advertising is at a premium these days and any opportunity we can create for our corporate members to try out some new advertising channels, especially if they can do so at a bargain, is something we are happy to do,” said Mark Smith, Executive Director of AGLOW.

Expect some big deals on some very interesting advertising opportunities at the Wednesday night auction.

“Registration has already been strong, and we’re ahead of where we typically are this far out from conference. We would love to finish registration strong and finally get back to the pre-pandemic feel of our annual conference. For now, we are well on our way, but there’s still time for folks to get signed up and be in Branson before the discounted rate is gone,” concluded Smith.
