Bowtech’s shooter Paige Pearce took second place in both the 138th USA Outdoor Target Nationals and the US Open in Malvern, PA held from August 10th-13th. USA Archery hosted both events with the Outdoor Target Nationals wrapping up on Friday and the US Open on Saturday. This event hosts some of the best archers in the world and has an intense level of competition. In attendance are both world champions and Olympic hopefuls. The course is always challenging, and wind is always a factor. Paige, always on point, came out on the podium in both events.

Paige’s comments after the Outdoor Target Nationals were, “After a really solid day 1, day 2 was a bit of a struggle! There was some tricky wind that got the best of me, but I was able to hold on to second place and finish strong.” Regarding the US Open she says, “I shot my bow great Saturday at the US Open! The wind picked up and I was able to remain calm and shoot strong shots all day. I made it all the way to the gold medal final where I was bested by a point, but overall, I was really happy with how the day went.”
