Two of these technologies – FusixTM and Carbon Alloy FusixTM – are fresh out of the laboratory, and are exclusive to BaseSlayers AMP.
The trifecta begins with field-proven ScentLok Carbon AlloyTM technology throughout the majority of each BaseSlayers AMP garment. This workhorse of odor-adsorption combines activated carbon with zeolite and treated carbon to help adsorb a larger spectrum of odors while targeting specific odors better than ever before. Next, FusixTM – a printed coating of engineered carbon fused directly onto the fabric for an additional layer of permanent odor protection – is positioned in low-odor areas to provide increased protection while affording maximum mobility. Lastly, Caron Alloy FusixTM – that’s FusixTM combined with Carbon AlloyTM for even more complete odor control – is positioned in hot spots like underarms and crotch areas to combat extreme odor production. We know; science is complicated, so go ahead and just think of all of this as witchcraft for whitetail hunters. Put simply, BaseSlayers AMP is the most advanced family of high performance odor-adsorbing layering garments available today.
Available in Lightweight, Midweight and Heavyweight styles to provide comfort and protection in any weather, ScentLok BaseSlayers AMP tops and pants feature 360-degree Jersey knit stretch panels for full freedom of movement in the field. Fabrics have an additional antimicrobial treatment for odor prevention, as well a wicking treatment for managing moisture. BaseSlayers AMP pants employ a gusseted groin for a secure fit and maximum mobility without pinch points. Lightweight, Midweight and Heavyweight pants also feature a convenient and tidy horizontal fly. Midweight and Heavyweight tops feature a ¼-length zipper at the neck for easy on and off, as well as concealed thumbhole openings at the wrists to help sleeves stay put. Midweight tops and pants are coupled with a micro-fleece inner lining for warmth, while Heavyweight models feature a zoned long-nap and micro-fleece lining for maximum heat retention.
