History Channel’s Alone Season 4 Winners Launch Limited Run Original Series on BeAlive

History Channel’s Alone Season 4 Winners Jim & Ted Baird Launch Limited Run Original Series on new Digital Media Network for Outdoor Enthusiasts, BeAlive

Midland, MI - October 19, 2018 BeAlive, a digital video entertainment network for the mobile, social generation of outdoor enthusiasts, debuted today its first original limited run series, Baird Brothers. The bushcraft and expedition series gives viewers a first-hand look into the exploits and adventures of larger than life brothers Jim and Ted Baird as they embark on a grueling 140-mile canoe trip deep into the heart of the remote Temagami region of Ontario, Canada.

In Baird Brothers, Jim and Ted meet up with their friend and mentor Alex Mathias and together they explore the Wakimika triangle. This area is home to the largest remaining virgin stand of eastern red and white pine left in the world. Less than 1% of the original forests are still in existence today and 50% is found in Temagami. Jim and Ted have a fantastic way of sharing their adventures through their unique blend of skill, grit, and humor.

“This was such an epic journey through Temagami. Ted and I did everything from weathering heavy rainstorms and discovering ancient pictographs to hiking primordial forests and cooking up feasts of fresh fish and wild mushrooms, all while we navigated more than 20 backcountry lakes, rivers and creeks,” said Jim. “It’s been a great experience working with BeAlive, and we are excited to share this experience with everyone.”

As the winners of season 4 of Alone, History Channel's groundbreaking survival series, Jim and Ted are no strangers to self-documenting while braving the wilderness. The two spent 75 days on Vancouver Island battling the elements, isolation, limited food and supplies, to outlast the other contestants and win the grand prize of $500,000. In addition, Jim and Ted have completed many significant expeditions across some of Canada's most remote regions, such as a 33-day canoe trip crossing Labrador and much of Northern Quebec to a 1000-mile snowmobile expedition that included crossing Great Bear Lake.

The first episode of Baird Brothers is available now on BeAlive’s YouTube, IGTV and Facebook channels. For more information, visit www.gobealive.com.
