Viridian to Showcase Exciting New Products at 2019 NRA Annual Meetings

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – April 23, 2019 – Viridian Weapon Technologies will be showcasing a variety of highly advanced weapon-mounted accessories at the 148th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Indianapolis, Indiana, April 26-28, 2019. Exhibiting at booth 1418, Viridian will display new and popular sighting solutions, including the latest X Series® Gen 3 products and V Series® Illuminators. During exhibition hours, Viridian will be selling branded merchandise at booth 1418, and authorized dealer Kenzie’s Optics will have its full Viridian product lineup available for purchase at booth 1212. Attendees will also see Viridian accessories across the show floor at manufacturer booths, including Springfield Armory®, Ruger®, Taurus®, Mossberg® and more.

“At the 2019 NRA show, Viridian fans will have an opportunity to see and buy several exciting new products that launched earlier this year,” said Viridian President and CEO Brian Hedeen. “As always, our team has been working hard to give customers the most advanced laser sights and lights that are robust in both performance and features. Visitors will see the latest X Series Gen 3 products, including the much-anticipated X5L-RS® for long guns and X5L® and XTL® Cam. Plus, we’ll have branded swag this year—another great reason for attendees to stop by the Viridian booth.”

X5L-RS Gen 3

Viridian’s X5L-RS Gen 3 is the latest version of the original X5L green laser sight and taclight, with a heavy-duty, waterproof two-button pressure switch for use on rifles and shotguns. Designed to fit most full-sized railed long guns, the X5L-RS comes equipped with a powerful 5mW green laser (510-520nm) for maximum visibility day or night and a brilliant 500 lumen CREE LED taclight. Secure universal mounting, six modes of operation and a removable, rechargeable battery with on-board charging and battery indicator lights round out these high-performance features.

X Series Gen 3 with Camera

The X Series Gen 3 with Camera comes standard with a 500 lumen LED light, green laser (on X5L Cam), multiple operation modes and Viridian's proprietary INSTANT-ON® technology. Combined with a 1080p full-HD digital camera and microphone, this unique solution provides convenient playback for training, range time or competitions and gives legally armed citizens an added level of reassurance when carrying or in a home defense situation. Additional uses include recording footage during action/water sports, bow hunting or fishing, turkey hunting or any other close-range hunting.

V Series Long-Range Illuminators

Viridian’s V Series Long-Range Illuminators deploy high-intensity, next-gen LED technology to throw a brilliant, tactical-grade light beam far downrange. Undetectable green, red or infrared beams paint distant targets in total darkness, without spooking quarry, straining eyes or blowing a paycheck on high-price gear. A vivid white beam helps locate a trail or blind an opponent instantly. Customers can choose between two models—the V210 Long-Range Illuminator or V310 Long-Range Illuminator.

The NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits is a world-class consumer show featuring acres of exhibits, premier events, educational seminars, workshops and activities. It will take place at the Indianapolis Convention Center, April 26-28.
