Kick Off Hunting Season with Fall Premiere Week September 19 on Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel

DENVER – Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network bring real-life outdoor adventure experiences to personal screens with a best-in-class Q3 programming lineup debuting on Monday, June 27. From expeditions across multiple continents while offering pure inspiration to viewers, to keeping it local with sustainable food options, watch original premieres and new episodes from returning series across all three networks.

Hunt to eat – and savor – what Outdoor Channel is cooking with their Taste of the Wild block on Mondays (beginning at 7 p.m. ET) featuring new series – Andrew Zimmern’s Wild Game Kitchen, and new episodes from favorites such as The Sporting Chef and Man Eats Wild beginning in September. And Fall Premiere Week kicks off September 19 with stacks of new series premieres on Outdoor Channel.

The sustainable food lifestyle has always been popular and Outdoor Channel continues to blaze the way with top programming. Follow along with Andrew Zimmern in his new series Andrew Zimmern’s Wild Game Kitchen. And learn to cook delicate fish during Wild Fish Masterclass, featuring multi-camera views in studio to see how to prep and cook fish. Returning with new episodes this Fall are Farming the Wild and Man Eats Wild, both hosted by legendary restaurateurs. Don’t miss a new season of competition with American Airgunner Challenge, and Terry Schappert and Larry Zanoff are back with the latest version of Hollywood Weapons.

  • American Airgunner Challenge (Premieres June 29, 7:30 p.m. ET): Reality-style shooting competition that challenges the best airgunners in the world to compete in 10 challenges for $25,000 in cash and the title of “American Airgunner Challenge Champion.”
  • Wild Fish Masterclass (Premieres July 11, 7 p.m. ET): The 10-part series is predominantly studio-based with multi-camera views, but also features fishing “tips & recipes” designed for all skill levels.
  • Andrew Zimmern’s Wild Game Kitchen (Premieres September 19, 9 p.m. ET): As a lifelong outdoorsmen and chef, Andrew Zimmern demystifies cooking wild food over an open fire, creating delicious and easy meals, while sharing tips for sourcing, butchering and preparing game meat and fish.
  • Farming the Wild (Premieres September 19, 7 p.m. ET): Follow English restaurateur and hunter Mike Robinson, one of Britain’s most prominent game chefs, as he harvests the natural ingredients that make up some of his most famous dishes.
  • Man Eats Wild (Premieres September 19, 7:30 p.m. ET): Follow hardcore adventurer and award-winning restaurateur Mario Kalpou on an amazing journey across the globe harvesting wild food in the most extreme environments.
  • Hollywood Weapons (Premieres September 21, 10 p.m. ET): U.S. Special Forces veteran Terry Schappert, along with weapons expert Larry Zanoff, utilizes the expertise of Hollywood’s premier prop house and weapons builder – and breaks down some of the most explosive action in Hollywood history.

Sportsman Channel trades fishing rods and reels for bows and arrows as the Fall lineup features several new series, including Agents of Change (Thursdays, 8 p.m. ET), No Limits Hunting (Fridays, 7:30 p.m. ET), The Overland Chronicles (Sundays, 7 p.m. ET) and My World Outdoors (Fridays, 8:30 p.m. ET). For passionate bowhunters, don’t miss “Bownanza” – a weeklong bowhunting extravaganza starting September 5. Waterfowl enthusiasts should tune in for “The Landing Zone” block on Saturdays (5-8 p.m. ET) sponsored by Mossy Oak and featuring new episodes from Ducks Unlimited TV and RNT-V. Finally, learn the balance between work and play (hunting) with Live the Wild Life, featuring drywall contractor by day, Gus Congemi; join two-time NFL Pro-Bowler Trent Cole and his crew as they show how to balance all of life’s demands – but still get hunting time in – with new episodes of Blitz TV.

  • Agents of Change (Premieres June 30, 8 p.m. ET): From spearfishing to beaver trapping, follow Steve Rinella and the MeatEater crew in their latest series.
  • No Limits Hunting (Premieres July 1, 7:30 p.m. ET): The No Limits Hunting team travels the world in pursuit of the ultimate adventure.
  • My World Outdoors (Premieres July 1, 8:30 p.m. ET): Every hunt and piece of content will focus on the show’s ethos – camaraderie, culture and conservation.
  • Ducks Unlimited TV (Premieres July 2, 2 p.m. ET): Always delivering the best in waterfowl action, tips and tactics, plus conservation news.
  • RNT-V (Premieres July 2, 3 p.m. ET): RNT-V – is old buddies and new friends; late nights and early mornings; the bite of the cold while on a boat ride in anticipation of a new day. It’s a new crowned World Champion and a fight well fought, and it’s building the best custom duck and goose calls in the nation.
  • Live the Wild Life (Premieres July 3, 10:30 a.m. ET): A drywall contractor by trade, Gus Congemi’s passion lies with the sport of bowhunting for the past 21 years.
  • The Overland Chronicles (Premieres July 3, 7 p.m. ET): Join hosts Scott Sullivan and Cheyenne Peterson as they discover “Our America” in their fully-kitted out overland vehicles.
  • Pure Hunting (Mondays, 9 p.m. ET): Host Willi Schmidt and his co-hosts hunt the way most hunters across the country hunt. It's about the adventure, camaraderie and authentically telling the whole story of the hunt, as it actually happens, good or bad. This is Pure Hunting.

World Fishing Network wants viewers to get hooked on the fishing experts and personalities that cast their lines across the network. Premiere shows with new episodes this season include Here’s the Catch (Saturdays, 8:30 p.m ET); Jimmy Houston Outdoors (Wednesdays, 8:30 p.m. ET); Lindner’s Angling Edge (Tuesdays, 8:30 p.m. ET) and The New Fly Fisher (Fridays, 8 p.m. ET), plus more. Anglers always have the best stories, so be sure to tune in on Tuesday nights for Lunkerville (6:30 p.m. ET), In-Fisherman TV (9 p.m. ET) and Lake Commandos (9:30 p.m. ET).
