Inland Carbine Wins National Championship

National Championship Again Won With

An Inland .30 Caliber Carbine

MKS Supply, LLC, Dayton OH - Inland Manufacturing and MKS Supply, LLC, are delighted to announce Alan Summers of Wilton Manors, Florida won the 2018 Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Commercial Class National Championship using an Inland Manufacturing carbine.

Alan's Inland Manufacturing model 1945 carbine is styled after the last production model of WWII. This .30 caliber carbine has a type 3 bayonet lug/barrel band, adjustable peep sight, low wood walnut stock.

Alan is also a CMP Travel Games Commercial Carbine match record holder with his Inland .30 Caliber Carbine.

Inland Carbines are so faithful to the original WWII carbines that the barrel and other parts are marked to prevent them being used to upgrade original carbines for unscrupulous sale to collectors.

The Inland carbine is inherently more accurate than its WWII counterparts thanks to advanced barrel manufacturing and materials. The Inland Carbine is not your granddaddy's carbine--though it looks identical.

The .30 caliber carbine national match course of fire:

Fired at 100 yards at a standard NRA 200 yard bullseye target reduced in size 50 percent.

The match consists of ten shots each:

  • Slow fire prone position ten shots in five minutes
  • Standing to prone position ten shots in 60 seconds (rapid fire)
  • Standing to kneeling or sitting position ten shots in 60 seconds (rapid fire)
  • Offhand standing (unsupported by sling or any other device) ten shots in 10 minutes.

All done with factory military style peep sights at a ten ring only 3.35 inches across--it is not easy!
