T.A. Mahoney Co. INC. – Thursday, September 5th – 4990 E Adamo Drive, Tampa, 33605. Details on their Facebook page – @TAMahoneyCo

Boaters Exchange in Rockledge and New Smyrna Beach will be a drop off location for Bahamian Hurricane Relief supplies. Leaders of this effort have partnered with the leadership of the Old Bahama Bay homeowners association and paperwork has already been filed and approved by the US and Bahamian governments to allow the flights from Melbourne Airport to arrive with no taxes duties or landing and take-off fees. Anyone wishing to speak to leaders directly can call 321-432-4843 or email Paul@BoatersExchange.com. Anyone with an airplane or large boat who would like to assist with the Airlift and subsequent flotilla are welcome to do so. It’s important to coordinate so that the red tape is circumvented. Keep in mind that any boat or small plane wishing to Ferry relief supplies must be able to carry enough fuel to get to their destination and back because there is very likely no clean fuel available at present.

More details are posted on the old Bahama Bay Facebook page. If you wish to drop off supplies at either Boaters Exchange location beginning Thursday September 4th here is a suggested list.

From Contender Boats: After considering our options we decided to give financial support to a group of local trusted friends who are running a full blown relief effort and fully encourage you to join us (Miami Billfish). We will continue to support the Bahamas is any way possible and are actively working with NMMA and other manufactures in the industry to assist in a meaningful and long term way. The Bahamas is such a special place to us boaters and they need our assistance now.

From Miami Billfish Tournament: “We are taking donations. You can use two methods to donate. You can use http://PayPal.com and note the Payee: miamibillfish@gmail.com. Please make your donation as friend to friend if possible. If you prefer to mail a check, make your check payable to The Miami Billfish Tournament and mail to; 1890 NE 150St N.Miami,FL 33181.

We are also in communication with major shipping companies to transport items to the islands and we will not be using any “private boat brigade.” The Miami Billfish Tournament has been used as a platform for donations in connection with many local conservation causes over the years. If anyone has a question as to the legitimacy of this donation mechanism, feel free to message them and they will provide you with references on local causes in which it has been used. Thanks for any donations which you can provide and/or any help you can lend to the effort.”
