Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation Seeks Office Manager

The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) is seeking an Office Manager to oversee all office operations and provide administrative support to senior management in our Washington, DC office.

Since 1989 the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) has maintained a singleness of purpose that has guided the organization to become the most respected and trusted sportsmen's organization in the political arena. CSF's mission is to work with Congress, governors, and state legislatures to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping. The unique and collective force of the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus (CSC), the Governors Sportsmen's Caucus (GSC) and the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC), working closely with CSF, and with the support of major hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping organizations, serves as an unprecedented network of pro-sportsmen elected officials that advance the interests of America's hunters and anglers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assistant to the President and Senior Finance Director;
  • Prepare correspondence, maintain President’s calendar, set up appointments, and schedule travel for Executive Management;
  • Prepare weekly bank deposits and assist Senior Finance Director with weekly accounts payable;
  • Distribute mail and packages, conduct office filing and scanning of CSF financial documents;
  • Monitor office inventory, postage machine and order supplies;
  • Coordinate bi-weekly staff meetings (room setup/dial-in/roll call);
  • New employee and intern set-up;
  • Collect bi-weekly timesheets and record hours;
  • Prepare monthly expense reports and timesheets for Executive Management;
  • Occasional travel to assist with CSF Federal, State and Regional events;
  • Trouble-shoot all building repairs, office equipment, IT issues and cell phones as needed and work with vendors/contractors to fix the issues;
  • Assist with generating board materials – assembling board meeting books, sending to printer, setting up new members, ordering supplies (name badges, blazers, etc.); and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.

Qualifications

  • BA degree with 3 years’ experience in an administrative or office management capacity.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently while exhibiting excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, while handling frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
