ACCOKEEK, Md. (January 22, 2019) – Benelli enhances its first over-and-under model with improved ergonomics and must-have features for serious sporting clay shooters. The 828U Sport features a 30-inch barrel and comes with five extended nickel chokes. Built around a steel receiver for additional weight, the 12 gauge shotgun’s improved grip angle and comb height work in conjunction with the wider carbon fiber rib and sight channel to deliver a sporting shotgun that points fast and swings smooth.

The popular 828U is based on the revolutionary Lock Plate closing system, which eliminates mechanical stress at the break action. The trigger features an improved pull weight and an adjustable trigger position (length). The extraordinary dynamic behavior of the 828U Sport is due to the ability to perfectly balance the shotgun’s center of gravity using the patented Progressive Balancing system. An anatomically-shaped stock combined with the ability to fine tune the drop and cast give shooters the perfect custom fit.

The 30-inch, anti-glare matte-finish barrel is solder free and is topped with a channeled raised rib and white front bead to keep the shooter focused on target. The satin finished stock and forend are built from AA walnut. In addition to the five chokes, the 828U Sport comes with drop and cast shims, weights, trigger tool, choke wrench, oil and owner’s manual. Each gun is packed in a plastic case with a separate case for chokes.

Exclusively designed for Sporting and Compak shooting, the 828U over-and-under shotgun is designed and built with sporting DNA.
