SHOT Show’s winding down today in Las Vegas. And it’s safe to say that it’s been different from any prior SHOT. Whether it’s better of worse is based on who you ask, and how you measure success. We’re not about to make predictions, but we do know from NSSF officials that registration numbers are very solid. The show was also spread out over more square footage with the expansion to the new- and ultra fancy- space over the skybridge at Caesar’s (more on the bridge later).
The SHOT postmortems will begin in earnest in our Monday edition, and we’ll have more in-depth writing on many of the products we saw-and tested- there. Today, as we wind down our time in Las Vegas, it’s a final photo gallery of SHOT Show 2022 items.

The low profile makes it easy for concealed carry either inside or outside the waistband. It would be ideal for instructors to use as “loaners” on the range.
NeoMag’s new Alias uses a proprietary holster clip that “click” locks into place and is simply removed with the push of a button. As they get customer feedback they’ll offer new places to clip the receiver as well as different types. Imagine safely removing your firearm in the holster and storing it on the bottom of your desk -securely- with a “click”.
When Covid hit, many companies, including Blackbird Products pivoted their manufacturing capacities to hand sanitizers (top) and face masks. Today, Blackbird’s masks in Mossy Oak Breakup Country (below) are big sellers.
While many companies make products for gunsmith, Real Avid has embraced the “do it yourself” movement in shooting sports and is offering a one-stop solution to retailers. Their full line of tools, cleaning products and chemicals, available to dealers in a single-SKU purchase has been a big hit with dealers.
The new expansion into Caesar’s exposition space hasn’t been without critics. But no one has denied the fact the new space delivers on an awesome look (Top). SCCY’s new booth (below) takes full advantage of the clean but classy look.
